After a busy and exciting first year, Tiro has brought in editorial reinforcements to meet the challenges ahead.
Our former editor John Vice has become deputy editor-in-chief. As well as assisting editor-in-chief Eero Voutilainen in leading the journal, John is now responsible for editing and production of our online news pages. If you have any reporting or transcription stories, events or other developments to share, please let us know using this contact form.
We also have a new editor. D’arcy McPherson joins our existing editors Rocio Bernabe Caro and Henk-Jan Eras, and our scientific adviser Carlo Eugeni, in collaborating with our authors to ensure that readability and high standards are maintained.
Meanwhile, Leah Willersdorf has become Tiro’s communications specialist, spreading the word about our news and features, especially on social media. Emrah Kuyumcu continues as webmaster managing all technical aspects of the website. More details of our staff and editorial team can be found here. Even though the global pandemic unfortunately prevents us meeting one another in person, we look forward to continuing to share experiences and new ideas with our valued readers.
